PAUL'S BREAKFAST AT HOME

Favoritten i Qatar, favorittfrokosten, favorittmåltidet.

Paul's breakfast. My favorite in Qatar, my favorite breakfast, my favorite meal. Even though I have seen a few Paul's here in London, we have not visited any of them yet. The last days I have been missing Dubai and Qatar a lot, so I thought about making a small meal which brings me back a bit; Paul's breakfast at home. The delicious, standard breakfast I always order, is in fact really easy to make at home, so I thought I would give it a try!

You need: French Baguette, Croissants, Potato Wedges, 3 eggs + 3 tbs water for Scrambled Eggs, fresh Orange Juice, butter, strawberry jam and ketchup.

INSTA MOMENTS

London has so much prettiness everywhere, and I love taking photos of it. Ideally I would bring my DSLR Camera with me everywhere, and take a few quick shots whenever something inspired me, but on most days that is not the case. What I always have with me though, is my phone. My phone is being filled up with lots of new photos - every day. Of course most of them I never do anything with, but many of them end up at my instagram account! Often when I am somewhere, before getting the chance to look through, edit and upload my photos from my camera, I instagram a few quick photos. Therefore I have a lot of iPhone/ instagram photos from the posts I later write and publish on my blog, like for instance when I write about a restaurant or any other kind of London Tips. Even though I do not like posting iPhone photos regularly (you can see the contrast from my usual big and clear camera photos...) I thought about starting to post a "instamoment" at the end of each post, since I often take completely different photos on my phone, in contrast to my camera. My posts from now on will include a "instamoment" (when possible), but I have also updated some older posts with it - some of my most popular posts since I moved to London - with instamoments, which you can see underneath. (Click at the photos to see the original posts).

Instamoment from "Our Apartment":  Details from our second IKEA trip

Instamoment from "Franco Manca":  Our delicious (one heart shaped) pizzas

Instamoment from "Notting Hill":  The beautiful yellow bike (I have so many iPhone photos from Notting Hill!)

Instamoment from "My favorite restaurant in Covent Garden":  Turquoise table and delicious food

Instamoment from "Rossopomodoro":  The oh-so-cute "Pizza makes you Beautiful" mirror

Instamoment from "Brighton":  Beautiful, colorful, slightly cloudy Brighton

Instamoment from "TBC":  Our delicious pancakes, and the best ever fresh orange juice

LONDON FOOD: ROSSOPOMODORO

Camden was really fun yesterday, but it is sooooo crowded! I love walking around the same busy tourist places as everyone else, and yesterday we had a really tourist kind of day, but I get so exhausted by all the people everywhere. After a few trips up and down the street and into a few of the shops, we walked down one of the side roads with lots of different restaurants, for some lunch. Even though we were only a few meters away from the busy street, we almost had the restaurant all to ourselves, and it felt so nice and relaxing!

Pizza lunch, of course. This time it was "authentic napoletanian pizza" with spicy salami, yum! (As you might know by now) I love trying out new pizzas here in London, especially italian ones, and this one did really not disappoint me. "Rossopomodoro" has 8 restaurants around in the London area, including locations in Camden, Covent Garden, Oxford Street and Chelsea. They describe themselves as "the best pizza on this side of Naples", and I have to say it really was a truly delicious, authentic italian, pizza. The pizza is made with sour dough, just like Franco Manca, which makes it extra good in my opinion (/ in my taste). With a huge beautiful venue, great restaurant locations and good prices, I really recommend this restaurant if you would like a quick (we got our food after 5 minutes, if you do not get it in 30 minutes it is free!), affordable and delicious lunch/dinner at a restaurant, for instance the next time you are in Camden.

BLOGGERS LOVE

November is almost here, and I am really looking forward to my next month in London. November starts with my reading week, so I have a good week of for lots of school work, but also some relaxing and fun in the city. Next monday I will be doing a fashion show at the Bloggers Love Hub event, which will take place every monday in November. If you are a blogger in the London area I really recommend you to check it out and sign up for it! I will be modeling at 3 of the 4 events, and I am really looking forward to it. The event is at Mahiki, so I am really happy I'll be back there already. I am really excited for working with BloggersLove, a really great network who organize events in London. I am also chosen to be a VIB for them (Very Important Blogger), which gives me exclusive access to events, front row seats at fashion shows and so on. I really think the Bloggers Love Hub will be great, with a fashion show, bloggers café, makeover studio, complementary nail bar and so many good brands to network with and get products from!  In addition to the Bloggers Love Hub, I will also attend another bloggers event in my reading week, a Bloggers Breakfast on Wednesday the 5th, with Georgina. I will hopefully also have time to work with Dale Weeks in November, a really talented photographer.

LONDON PHOTOS: LONDON EYE AND BIG BEN

A walk down the river, with beautiful bridges, London Eye and Big Ben, resulted in a lot of photos, this post just shows a small outtake of them. London has so much beautiful buildings and details to photograph, and I love walking around with my camera and taking photos of everything. Even though the streets are filled with tourists, I really recommend taking some time of from shopping, to just walk around and look/ take photos when you visit London. We took the underground to Waterloo Station, and walked down to London Eye, and then to Big Ben.

What: Walk around and take photos

Where: London Eye/ Big Ben/ anywhere really! (We walked from Waterloo Underground Station to Big Ben)
Price: Free!

TOURISTS FOR A DAY

London has so much to offer, and I love being a "tourist in my on town". Since both Simon and I had today off, we went of to central, where we walked down the river past London Eye and Big Ben, where we got to take a lot of pretty "standard tourist photos".  Afterwards we went to Camden, were we did some looking around in the shops, and then we had pizza lunch at a lovely restaurant, which I will write more about later. Now I have a lot of photos to look through from today, so hopefully there will be a long photo-post in not too long!

MAHIKI

Mahiki.

Mahiki. Definitely the best night out in London so far. Last night we celebrated Rees birthday, and had a proper girls night out in central, at amazing Mahiki. Mahiki is a Hawaii-inspired club, and it is so well done, with decor, drinks, outfits and everything else with a real Hawaii and Tiki vibe. We started the night upstairs, with a huge "fishbowl" filled with champagne, fresh strawberries and blackberries, rose pedals and so much more yummy. The music upstairs was super cozy, with cheesy hits like "Girls just wanna have fun" that we could sing along too, proper girls night style. But after a while upstairs, we got a table downstairs, where the atmosphere was different, with people dancing and club music playing. The DJ was so good, and I think one of the best things about the whole evening was that the music was so amazing! It was such a good girls night out, and I really hope this will not be my only trip to Mahiki, I can not wait to go back.

ROKIT TRUE VINTAGE

A good vintage store, with great, cheap and unique products - isn't that what we all want to find? I love finding newVintage stores to check out here in London, and last sunday I found one I really liked! "Rokit True Vintage" has stores at 4 different locations around in London,  and also an online store where you can have a look. I visited the store in Camden, a cute and quite small two story shop with a lot of great vintage products. I fell in love with the wall filled with bags in the end of the store, where I found my new Coach bag. In addition to a lot of pretty designer bags, they had some beautiful scarfs, jewelry, some shoes, and of course lots of clothes. The store I visited in Camden was not that big, but I really want to visit the location they have in Covent Garden soon, which looks a lot bigger. I really recommend that you take a good look around at the walls and shelves when you are there, since they used a lot of their best/prettiest products as decoration as well, don't miss out - you can buy it! (Ps: on wednesday you get 20% student discount both in store and online, every other day it's 10%)

"If you're looking for retro clothing that screams individualism and makes you stand out from the crowd, visit one of our fabulous boutique stores. We have four vintage shops in London in simple-to-find locations so getting your vintage fix is easy." - Rokit True Vintage

What: Rokit True Vintage
Where: Camden: 225 High Street (+ Covent Garden and Brick Lane)
Price: Varies from really cheap stuff to designer, but really good prices + student discount!

CAMDEN TOWN

Camden Town, a really popular place here in London, that you might have visited already. If you haven't though, I really recommend it! I feel like a lot of tourists go there looking for good vintage/ second hand stores, and to be honest I would not recommend Camden as the best place for this. Of course there are a few good second hand shops here as well - it is just that there are many better places for that. What I do recommend you check out in Camden though, is the markets! Markets filled with people, delicious food, home made crafts, clothes and so much more. At the photos you can see a few glimpses of what you can except finding there. Camden also has a few stores like Urban Outfitters, American Apparel and so on down the street, but except for that there are a lot of souvenir shops for tourist, since Camden is crowded with tourists. Other than that I recommend that you bring your camera with you here, because there is so many beautiful details on the houses and streets in general + the beautiful river that you can walk down to Regents Park (and London Zoo) for a really nice walk!

Btw. I will be updating my London Tips, where you can see all my London Tips in one place
